Your Task...

At GOCAT's INC, we are dedicated to "Green Living." Our energy resources are limited and new alternatives need to be researched & implemented before it is too late. Furthermore, we must live sustainably so that our grandchildren can enjoy the planet too. We are interested in any alternative energy source that might be feasible in our area.

Your research will focus on the following:

A. Is this type of energy being used elsewhere & how successfully has it been implemented?

B. What would the cost of implementation be & what would the cost be to the local public?

C. How does the type of alternative energy work?

D. What is the potential impact on the environment, good & bad?

The Final Project will consist of the following:

A. An oral presentation (approx. 10-15 minutes in length) with a variety of visuals that supplement your presentation (i.e. photographs, video clips, charts, etc.

B. A written proposal covering the focus topics above; should be typed, double spaced, 12 point font; works cited page showing all research sources used (each group member's section will be 2-3 pages long but the proposal should be seamless)

C. A "working" model of the energy source
