PURPOSE OF THE INVESTIGATIONS: You have been hired
by the Know-Whin-Big Investment Corporation ( a Japanese
company) to determine the value of a mineral deposits
located on parcels of land they are considering buying.
The Corporation has supplied you with mineral samples
their agents have collected from the land. Each bag
contains multiple samples. Your task is to identify the
minerals in your samples and then report to the company
what value they hold.

Procedure:
1.)
Using known tests and guide books, complete the
given chart.
2.)
Use information gained to determine minerals in
your sample.
3.)
Once you know the minerals, use given
information and outside research to determine relative value of mineral deposits
for the investment corporation you are employed by.
4.)
Determine whether or not the corporation would
benefit from buying the land based on your findings and write a proposal (either
for or against) based on information
5.)
Attach proposal and table for your employer
